Job summary

Regional Food Bank of Northeastern NY is seeking an on-site Retail Rescue Onboarding Coordinator to drive the onboarding and growth of new retail store partners across the 23-county service region. You will serve as the primary liaison, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience and ongoing engagement with partners to maximize donated food distribution.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and/or two years of related work experience are required.
• Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and customer service skills with written communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel regionally and a valid New York State driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding of new retail store partners and communicate program guidelines.
• Initiate and manage relationships with stores and partner agencies across the 23-county area.
• Serve as primary customer service contact for onboarded stores via in-person visits, phone, and email.
• Conduct outreach to expand program participation in rural, suburban, and urban communities.
• Explain program benefits and address barriers to participation.
• Collaborate with Data Analytics to map locations, match partners, and monitor performance.
• Monitor donation activity and generate growth reports.
• Maintain partner information in donor and inventory management software.
• Track donation poundage reporting and ensure accurate documentation.
• Communicate issues to the Manager with recommended solutions.
• Support partner recognition and draft outreach materials.
• Participate in trainings and webinars, maintain a safe workspace, and work across departments.
