Job summary

Food Bank for New York City is seeking a role within its Programs Team to coordinate and support on-site emergency food programs with non-typical partners across NYC. The position includes Campus Pantry and PantryRx programs, working with schools, youth groups, colleges, and healthcare partners to advance food security in high-need communities.

You will engage with diverse stakeholders, travel citywide for site visits and grant reporting, and help build capacity for anti-hunger initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public health, policy, organizing or related field is required (2-3 years of program support experience).
• Fluency in Spanish and/or other languages is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to work independently and with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate on-site food distribution programs with diverse partners (schools, healthcare, CBOs).
• Manage monthly operations: food orders, delivery, budgets, and program goals.
• Lead partner engagement opportunities and coordinate learning sessions.
