Bass Pro Shops in Hampton, VA is seeking a Regional Director to lead day-to-day operations for the Mid-Atlantic & Eastern Carolinas region across multiple stores. This role drives sales, margins, and customer experience while overseeing merchandising and regional initiatives.

The position requires hands-on leadership of store managers, strategic budgeting, talent development, and strong financial acumen, with extensive travel to stores and a focus on safety and standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years in high volume, multi-store retail management.
• Experience overseeing store managers and operations across multiple locations.
• Strong financial planning, budgeting, and cost control skills.
• Proven ability to recruit, train and develop leadership talent.
• Ability to travel frequently to store locations (85% of time).

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise Store Managers and oversee all stores in the region.
• Develop and execute financial plans for sales, margin, and expenses.
• Coordinate merchandising and product assortments by region and locality.
• Lead customer service programs and ensure safe, clean store environments.
• Recruit, hire, and develop high-level management associates.
• Collaborate with facilities, HR, and information systems for store productivity.
