Job summary

State of North Carolina is seeking a Regional Recruiter to build a robust pool of Correctional Officer candidates across designated counties. The role emphasizes outreach, event participation, and steady candidate engagement to sustain the agency’s workforce.

Travel is involved; a state vehicle and tools are provided. Strong sourcing, social media, and recruitment analytics abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and implementing strategic field recruitment initiatives.
• Experience using social media tools and electronic platforms in the recruitment process.
• Experience candidate sourcing and/or sourcing candidates through various web-based HR/ Recruitment platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute field recruitment initiatives to build candidate pipelines.
• Collaborate with colleges, professional boards, and associations to plan recruitment events.
• Attend NC DAC career and hiring events and community job fairs with the recruitment team.
• Talk to students and classes about career opportunities with NC DAC.
• Prepare presentations and maintain spreadsheets for applicant/position tracking.
