Job summary

Ipsen Biopharmaceuticals Inc. in the United States is seeking a Regional Business Director, Liver, Northeast. This role leads the Rare Disease commercial field force for MA, CT, RI, VT, NH, ME, NYC, and drives PFIC, ALGS, and PBC strategies.

You will build regional plans, align cross-functional partners, and coach a team of Clinical Science Specialists to achieve sales and access objectives.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required; advanced degree is a plus.
• 10 years of sales/marketing experience in biopharma with at least 5 years in sales leadership/rare disease.
• Extensive knowledge of US payer landscape and access drivers.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of delivering exceptional results.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Northeast Rare Disease sales force, including recruiting, hiring, training, and evaluating a team of 8 CSSs.
• Assess current practices in target accounts and build key partnerships compliantly.
• Collaborate with Medical, Patient Support Services, and Value & Access to map referral pathways.
• Develop and execute short- and long-term regional business plans to drive growth.
• Align field activities with strategic initiatives and deploy promotional peer-to-peer programs.
• Coach CSSs on product knowledge and reimbursement skills while ensuring Ipsen compliance.
• Partner with Value & Access to drive brand access and objectives.
• Ensure effective communication of market intelligence to brand teams and senior management.
