Job summary

Thompson Pump & Manufacturing Co., Inc. seeks a Territory Sales Manager to drive all sales activities within the defined Florida territory.

You will establish and grow distributor networks, dealers, and direct accounts, while coordinating with municipal and private sector customers to expand market presence. Responsibilities include territory planning, customer visits, quotations, product demonstrations, and leveraging Salesforce CRM for goals and analyses.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years progressive supervisory/managerial experience.
• Experience with pumps, wellpointing and dewatering equipment preferred.
• Utility construction experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Must be computer literate.
• Must understand hydraulic principles and pump manuals.
• Must have a valid class-C driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage all sales activities for the assigned Thompson Pump territory.
• Establish and manage channels to market including distributors, dealers, private label, national accounts, municipal and direct to end users.
• Oversee and coordinate all territory activities to meet objectives.
• Partner with Municipal Sales Manager to grow municipal sales in territory.
• Conduct sales calls, training, site visits, quotations and product demonstrations.
• Submit goals, plans, reports and analyses using Sales Force CRM.
• Attend trade shows and customer training events as needed.
