DRUCKER + FALK is seeking a Regional Property Manager to oversee the DC, Northern VA, and Maryland area, supporting multi-site properties and new construction/lease-up. The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of housing laws, and a track record in property management.

Responsibilities include staff development, budgeting, marketing oversight, and ensuring financial performance across properties. Regional travel and coordination with the Central Office are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of apartment property management during new construction/lease up and multi-site management is required.
• Experience in managing multiple property managers required.

Responsabilités

• Establishes and coordinates a communication system among on-site management and Central Office.
• Hires, trains, supervises, develops, and terminates supervised staff; conducts evaluations; approves hires for on-site personnel.
• Monitors and improves marketing activities; reviews occupancy; suggests rent schedules.
• Reviews/audits property administration, accounting, and maintenance areas; approves exceptions.
• Professionally resolves resident relation issues.
• Inspects properties; evaluates maintenance, grounds, and housekeeping; inspects vacant apartments for market-ready condition.
• Assists in or develops corrective programs for apartment communities.
• Supervises and coordinates annual operating and capital budgets; monitors and reports.
• Reviews and approves expenditures; negotiates contracts.
• Establishes/revises forms, reports, and manuals with supervisor approval.
• Prepares and conducts meetings.
• Participates in Development Team on design, unit mix, rent rates; coordinates staffing for new communities per Drucker + Falk guidelines.
• Acts as liaison between Owner/Owner’s Representative and Drucker + Falk.
• Participate in local and regional trade associations.
• Out-of-state travel is required; reliable transportation to conduct site audits.
• Performs other duties.
