Job summary

aamci is seeking a Regional Property Manager to oversee a large portfolio of affordable housing communities. The role provides leadership to on-site teams, ensuring adherence to HUD/Section 8/LIHTC requirements while driving financial performance and resident satisfaction.

You will mentor a regional team, conduct audits, and collaborate with senior leadership to meet company standards and regulatory expectations. Travel within the region is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field preferred
• Three to five years of progressive multi-site management experience in Project Based Section 8 and Tax Credit properties
• Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate, coach, and hold teams accountable
• Ability to analyze financial reports, manage budgets, and improve operational performance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to travel regularly within region

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of multiple affordable housing communities within the assigned region
• Ensure compliance with HUD, Section 8, LIHTC, and other housing regulations
• Monitor occupancy levels, financial performance, and property maintenance to meet budget and compliance targets
• Conduct regular site visits and audits to assess property conditions and team performance
• Support and train property managers and leasing staff on compliance, customer service, and standards
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets
