Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Regional Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of properties in a designated region, driving performance and profitability through effective property management strategies, high tenant satisfaction, and optimized financial returns for owners.

You will lead property management teams, partner with leasing, maintenance, and regional support services, monitor budgets, report performance to ownership, and ensure compliance with applicable laws while pursuing market

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree preferred in Business, Real Estate or related fields.
• Proven leadership experience managing diverse properties.
• Proficiency in property management software (Yardi and/or Real Page).
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and team management abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of real estate laws, regulations, and market trends.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure portfolio and communities meet operational, financial, and business goals via inspections and reports.
• Collaborate with CMs to ensure goals are met.
• Work with regional support services leaders to improve asset and team performance.
• Lead local and national operational initiatives and adoption of revised protocols.
• Oversee budgets and ensure financial targets are met or exceeded.
• Present regular reports on performance, financial metrics, and market trends to ownership and senior management.
• Foster positive tenant relationships and address concerns.
• Implement tenant retention programs to minimize turnover.
• Collaborate with leasing teams on marketing strategies to drive occupancy.
• Oversee maintenance programs and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure properties meet company and owner standards through inspections and capital requests.
• Implement preventative maintenance plans.
• Stay current with regulations affecting property management.
• Identify and mitigate risks and ensure insurance coverage.
• Conduct market research to identify opportunities for improvement.
