HR Legacy Commercial, LLC is seeking an experienced Regional Property Manager to oversee daily operations of CHA residential properties in Chicago. You will supervise on-site teams, ensure regulatory compliance, maintain occupancy, and drive financial and operational performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of residential property management experience.
• Minimum 3 years of affordable/public/HUD-assisted housing experience.
• Experience overseeing multiple properties or 500+ units.
• Knowledge of HUD regulations, Fair Housing, leasing, and recertification requirements.
• Supervising property management and maintenance teams.
• Strong financial management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
• Ability to travel regularly between properties.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership and oversight to Property Managers, administrative staff, and maintenance teams.
• Monitor daily property operations and staff performance.
• Conduct staff evaluations and provide coaching and development.
• Ensure consistent implementation of company policies and procedures.
• Monitor rent collections, delinquencies, and accounts receivable.
• Oversee leasing, waiting lists, tenant eligibility, and recertifications.
• Ensure vacant units are prepared and leased promptly.
• Maintain CHA occupancy and collection performance goals.
• Conduct regular on-site property visits and inspections.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs and work-order completion.
• Coordinate building inspections (boilers, HVAC, elevators, plumbing, fire safety).
• Ensure timely unit turns and repairs.
• Prepare and review weekly/monthly property performance reports.
• Address compliance deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
