Job summary
The Habitat Company, LLC seeks a Commercial Portfolio Manager to oversee the operational, financial, and leasing performance of its commercial and mixed-use portfolio in the Chicago region. You will liaise with tenants, owners, brokers, property management, and accounting to maintain occupancy, optimize operations, and enhance asset value.
The role includes budgeting, financial analysis, capital planning, and supporting acquisitions, dispositions, refinancing, and due diligence.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in commercial real estate, leasing, or asset management.
- Strong financial, analytical, and reporting skills with advanced Excel.
- Willingness to travel periodically within the portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the operational, financial, and leasing performance of the commercial and mixed-use portfolio.
- Partner with tenants, brokers, property management, and owners to maximize occupancy and operations.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses for the portfolio.
- Review rent rolls, CAM reconciliations, and lease administration tasks.
- Support acquisitions, dispositions, refinancing, and lender reporting.
