Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in property management with at least 3 years in a supervisory or regional leadership role.
• Experience managing multifamily communities, ideally within a similar size and structure.
• Strong financial acumen with budgeting, financial reporting, and P&L management.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills across diverse site teams.
• Ability to analyze market data and trends to inform operational and marketing decisions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management platforms such as RESMAN or similar.
• Ability to read and interpret financial statements, contracts, and regulatory documents.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions independently.

Responsibilities

• Represent the portfolio professionally in internal and external environments.
• Provide day-to-day oversight and strategic direction to Property Managers and site teams.
• Manage full profit and loss, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting; ensure compliance.
• Supervise staff performance and support professional development.
• Partner with VP to identify short- and long-term strategies for asset performance.
• Lead marketing efforts to maintain occupancy and brand awareness.
• Conduct regular property inspections for maintenance quality and safety.
• Implement local operational initiatives across sites.
• Optimize rent collection, expenses, and capital improvement planning.
• Ensure adherence to laws, fair housing, and risk management protocols.
• Build relationships with residents, employees, vendors, and ownership groups.
• Prepare detailed performance reports on financials, leasing, and market trends.
• Monitor market conditions to adjust asset positioning.
