Job summary

S&S Property Management Inc in Birmingham, AL seeks a Regional Property Manager to coordinate regional staff, optimize occupancy, and maximize property values while training Property Managers to raise performance.

You will oversee budgets, ensure rents are collected and reported daily, manage vendor relationships, and enforce policies. Strong supervision, communication, and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have at least 5 years' experience in on-site property management.
• Must have background in supervision and successful track record of accomplishments.
• Must be proficient with MS Office Suite and On-Site Property Management Software.
• Must be able to operate office equipment (i.e. Calculator, Typewriter, Copy Machine, Fax Machine, Telephone and Key Machine).
• Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week within a flexible work week.
• Must be available evenings, nights and weekends for staffing needs and emergencies.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
• Must have valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Must effectively convey ideas, images and goals to a diverse group of personalities.
• ARM, CAM, CPM, CAPS, NAHP and HCCP certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise staff within region to maximize occupancy and property values.
• Train Property Managers to maximize potential and add value to properties.
• Assist in budgeting for each upcoming year and stay within guidelines.
• Ensure rents are collected and posted in a timely manner and reported daily.
• Oversee hiring, training, and evaluation of on-site staff.
• Oversee development and monitoring of company policies and procedures.
• Make periodic inspections of properties with property managers and staff.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policies; communicate with corporate office.
