Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Project Portfolio Group Leader in Houston to oversee regional Network Control project portfolios, guiding delivery, ensuring safety and quality, and aligning with revenue and margin goals. You will interface with executive customers and collaborate across engineering, procurement, and logistics for successful execution.

The role requires a Master’s or Engineering degree, 10 years of portfolio/project management experience, and 5 years in leadership within a global

Qualifications

Master's degree or Engineering degree required.
10 years of related portfolio and project management experience.
Minimum of 5 years leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with Network Control, EMS, SCADA, control software applications, or comparable software solutions in energy/OEM sectors.
Experience with monthly and quarterly close and reporting cycles.
Experience working in a global matrix organization.

Responsibilities

Manage regional Network Control project portfolios and customer-facing activities.
Act as the primary interface to executive customer representatives.
Steer revenue, gross margin, cash performance, risks, and opportunities across portfolios.
Ensure effective project controls, procurement, and logistics during delivery.
Coordinate with engineering teams to support project execution.
