Hitachi Energy is seeking a Technical Lead to guide complex network manager solutions for power system control and monitoring worldwide. You will drive project kickoff through handover, align with customers, and lead talented project teams.

This role blends technical excellence with leadership, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement across project management, system integration, cybersecurity, and power system technologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience on integration projects involving power control and monitoring.
  • Knowledge of electric power system control and monitoring.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • ISO27001 Fundamentals and IEC 62443 Fundamentals, or ability to obtain them.

Responsibilities

  • Support project planning and execution alongside Project Managers to deliver successful customer solutions.
  • Coordinate project teams, onboarding activities, and project requirements.
  • Maintain effective communication with customers, stakeholders, and project teams.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates and issue management.
  • Lead key delivery milestones, including FAT, SAT, site installation, verification, and handover activities.
  • Ensure cybersecurity and project delivery activities align with established processes and standards.
  • Mentor and support fellow Technical Leads while contributing to knowledge sharing and capability development.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for products, processes, and project delivery practices.

Your background
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working on integration projects involving power control and monitoring systems.
  • Minimum of 5 years of knowledge of electric power system control and monitoring, ideally gained through system integration project delivery.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to manage stakeholder requirements and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and customers.
  • Understanding of project management best practices within a technical project environment.
  • ISO27001 Fundamentals and IEC 62443 Fundamentals certifications, or the ability to obtain them.
