Job summary

The American Red Cross seeks a Regional Program Specialist - Reserve to support SAF and IS programs overseas. You will manage emergency communications, coordinate volunteers, and lead deployment-related operations for mobile teams.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree and at least five years in program management, plus strong communication and computer skills. Role involves living on military bases, strict security, and international travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in business/public administration or related field.
• Minimum of five years related experience in program management or related field.
• Strong computer skills and ability to communicate effectively in writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Deliver emergency communication messaging and support services to military members and families.
• Manage service delivery outcomes and document program activities.
• Build and sustain relationships with military leadership and installation partners.
• Recruit, mentor and supervise volunteers across SAF/IS and related programs.
• Oversee deployment readiness, logistics, and reporting for mobile deployments.
