Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Regional Support Technician for Production Print equipment to support on-site regional service.

You will troubleshoot hardware, firmware and workflow issues, and provide on-site and remote assistance to regional technicians and service agents. The role emphasizes sharing knowledge, maintaining records, and working closely with Product support to implement best practices across the region.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Associate's degree in mechanical or electronics, or equivalent.
• Printer knowledge and testing/diagnostic applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to obtain security/clearances as required.
• Technical certifications such as A+, Network+, MCSE desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-going technical, on-site and phone support to regional technicians to troubleshoot complex problems.
• Deliver regional instruction on adjustments, repairs, upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Create, organize and share information to improve regional efficiency.
• Maintain and update problem records and escalate as needed.
• Manage regional FCO database for compliance and timely installs/disposals.
• Collaborate with Product support on knowledge sharing and best practices.
• Contribute to special projects or tasks as directed by regional leadership.
