Job summary

Lam Research in Boise, Idaho seeks a Regional Product Support Engineer to serve as the technical backbone for field teams and customers. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and optimize complex electro‑mechanical systems, and lead escalation handling with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

You will mentor field engineers, coordinate multi-task support efforts, and participate in training sessions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent with substantial experience.
• Strong ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics and manuals.
• Proficient with data analysis, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level technical support to customers and field personnel for highly technical equipment.
• Lead root-cause analysis and coordinate remediation actions with cross‑functional teams.
• Mentor engineers and conduct training sessions; support on-site and remote escalation.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required by business needs.
