Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a Regional Product Support Engineer to backstop field engineers and product teams in the Boise region. You will diagnose and resolve issues for highly technical equipment across customer sites, providing expert remote and on-site escalation support as needed.

You will mentor technicians, coordinate cross‑functional tasks, and participate in global technical initiatives, with travel as required and a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and safety.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or related field; 12+ yrs exp with option for MS/PhD.
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical schematics and manuals.
• Strong problem solving with data-driven root cause analysis.
• Experience providing remote and on-site escalation support.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to field engineers and technicians for highly complex equipment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and debug electro‑mechanical systems.
• Mentor and train field engineers; share knowledge with global technical community.
• Coordinate multiple technical tasks and communicate with customers clearly.
