Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a seasoned Regional Preconstruction Business Leader for North America Energy Services to shape regional strategy, drive profitability, forecasting accuracy, and workforce planning across multiple delivery models including Design-Build and ESPC.

The role requires executive leadership with strong commercial judgment, matrixed collaboration with Sales, Operations, Engineering, and enterprise support functions, and a proven track record of building high-performing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in energy services, preconstruction, project development, or related field.
• Proven success leading teams and delivering strategic business results.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen, including forecasting, portfolio prioritization, and business-case evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for the region’s preconstruction business, with accountability for growth, profitability, forecasting accuracy, workforce planning, utilization, and overall business performance.
• Shape regional strategy, investment priorities, and portfolio direction across the Energy Services opportunity landscape.
• Translate enterprise and regional priorities into operating plans, execution strategies, and measurable business outcomes.
• Lead strategic alignment across regional sales and operation teams to ensure focus on the highest-value opportunities and investments.
