Amazon's Global Engineering Services (GES) in North America Design & Construction seeks a Preconstruction Manager to act as owner’s representative during preconstruction for fulfillment centers, delivery stations, and related facilities.

You will drive site selection, design management, permitting, and contract execution across multiple projects, coordinating with internal Real Estate, Design Engineering, Finance, and Construction teams and external architects and developers.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience spanning design through implementation and operation.
• Ability to travel up to 60% within assigned regions.
• Experience with entitlements, permitting, and contracts.

Mansioni

• Independently manage cross-functional industrial pre-construction projects from site selection through design completion and contract execution.
• Coordinate with Real Estate, Design Engineering, Entitlements, Construction, Finance, Launch/Startup, architects, engineers, permitting agencies, developers, and landlords to scope, schedule and drive delivery.
• Lead site selection, validation, and design management; develop site plans meeting Amazon's standards.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects across locations with budget, schedule, and risk oversight.
• Perform conceptual estimating and pricing reviews; negotiate the cost of work with vendors and design consultants.
• Prepare and present project status and risk reports to leadership.
