Job summary

HDR is seeking an Area Power Delivery Lead to drive and grow our Power Delivery services for large-scale clients in the United States. You will lead cross-functional teams, provide technical leadership, and build strong client relationships to ensure successful project outcomes.

The role requires extensive experience in Power Delivery or T&D design, strong communication, and a collaborative approach within HDR’s employee-owned culture. Travel to offices and sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or closely related field.
• 10+ years of Power Delivery or T&D design experience preferred.
• Strong communication and listening skills; ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Leadership and organizational skills; active participant in employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and supervise project execution teams.
• Grow HDR’s Power Delivery portfolio with large-scale clients, especially Investor-Owned Utilities.
• Build and maintain relationships with major Power Delivery clients; provide SME support for proposals and marketing.
• Provide technical leadership and project management oversight to ensure staff adequacy and high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate across HDR resources for staff recruitment and training; mitigate project risks.
