Job summary

Hayward Holdings Inc. is seeking a field sales professional to lead growth in the Long Island, NY region, selling a full line of pool equipment to builders and distributors.

You will travel extensively, sign new accounts, manage existing relationships, and collaborate with internal teams to align product offerings with customer needs. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of sales in the pool equipment industry, with mechanical aptitude and the ability to drive long-distance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 3+ years sales experience in pool equipment industry.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to travel long distances.
• Proficiency with PC; knowledge of automated control systems a plus.
• Knowledge of pool equipment products is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and travel by plane required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Travel overnight is required.

Responsibilities

• Travel throughout assigned territory to call on named builders to expand share.
• Stays builder-focused and signs new builders; expects existing bookings of $2M minimum.
• Supports distributor to maintain stocking levels and brings in new inventory (NPI).
• Develops sales campaigns to achieve builder market goals.
• Analyzes market trends and sales data to assist distributors in promotions.
• Demonstrates products and explains features and advantages over competition.
• Coordinates with customer service, technical service, engineering and other departments.
• Manages expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements.
• Provides input for annual sales plan and territory strategy to meet quotas.
• Maintains and develops customer base using Salesforce CRM.
