Job summary

Hanger, Inc. seeks an Area Manager, Patient Access to lead front-office operations across several clinics. You will supervise Patient Access Supervisors, coordinate registration and scheduling, and ensure a smooth patient experience while maintaining HIPAA compliance and strong financial controls.

The role requires travel up to 80% and collaboration with regional leadership to optimize operations and patient outcomes. A bachelor's degree and healthcare management experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years in healthcare operations management.
• Experience hiring, supervising, training, and coaching staff.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily admin operations across multiple clinics and staff.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership to support patient care.
• Maintain relationships with referrals, payers and patients.
• Develop strategies to improve financial performance and patient experience.
• Travel to assigned clinics up to 80% of the time.
