Job summary

Farm Family Insurance seeks a Regional Distribution Leader to drive profitable growth across the assigned territory. You will oversee a team of Territory Leaders, align agency partners with corporate strategy, and ensure achievement of premium, retention and profitability goals while coordinating with underwriting, product, marketing and operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of progressive P&C insurance experience with strong field sales/territory management
• 3+ years supervising, coaching, and developing field leaders or account managers
• Leadership competencies in relationship engineering, optimization, strategic thinking, and data-driven decision making

Responsibilities

• Deliver regional P&C premium, retention, and profitability goals via territorial sales plans
• Execute the regional distribution strategy with cross-functional collaboration
• Identify, appoint, manage, and optimize distribution partners and plan annual cycles
• Recruit and coach Territory Leaders, set production metrics and development plans
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Product, Claims, Actuarial, Marketing, and Ops to seize growth opportunities
• Manage regional budgets and allocate corporate program resources
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activity for strategic input
• Conduct audits of agency portfolios to assess growth, retention and loss ratios
• Identify underperforming agencies and implement rehabilitation or termination actions
• Lead deployment of new products and corporate sales campaigns
• Act as Brand Advocate for Farm Family Insurance in the regional market
