Community Partnership of Southeast Missouri (CPSEMO) is seeking an Outreach & Engagement Specialist for SEMO RISE, a regional workforce development initiative serving 14 counties in Southeast Missouri.

The role focuses on participant recruitment, community outreach, referrals, and ongoing engagement to connect individuals with education, training, and employment opportunities in skilled trades, construction, IT, and drone technology.

Competenze

• Associate or bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, human services, education, workforce development, business administration, or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in community outreach, participant recruitment, public engagement, or workforce development.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present clearly to diverse audiences.
• Ability to travel throughout the 14-county service area.

• Develop outreach strategies to identify individuals who may benefit from SEMO RISE education, training, and employment pathways.
• Promote program opportunities at events, partner organizations, schools, and workforce agencies.
• Communicate program goals, eligibility criteria, and enrollment procedures to prospective participants.
• Manage referrals between SEMO RISE, educational institutions, training providers, and employers.
• Coordinate with partners to address barriers and improve access to workforce opportunities.
• Maintain records of outreach activities and track recruitment progress with CPSEMO staff.
