Job summary

Cinépolis USA is seeking an experienced Operations leader to oversee multiple units within a designated region. The role emphasizes hands-on theater presence, driving sales, and maximizing margins while enforcing company policies.

You will lead General Managers, manage budgets, and ensure training and development across locations. A strong track record in hospitality or entertainment operations, plus a business degree or equivalent experience, is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of multi-unit operations management in full-service restaurant or entertainment
• Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Proven track record of operational excellence

Responsibilities

• Establishes direction and communicates with General Managers; holds location Managers accountable for execution
• Spends 80% of time in theaters to monitor performance, provide feedback, and recognize exceptional performance
• Holds regular meetings and conference calls to communicate directives and reinforce policies
• Completes location inspections and provides feedback to General Managers
• Ensures attainment of budgeted sales results and controls expenses to budget
• Provides leadership to General Managers to drive sales and maximize margin
• Monitors controllable expenses and takes corrective action
• Protects Company assets including budgeted shrink results and policy compliance
• Manages HR issues to ensure retention, training, and hiring standards for all employees
• Ensures GM support for corporate training programs and that all training is completed
• Monitors employee engagement and reacts appropriately
• Approves promotions, terminations, and disciplinary actions
• Guides development of management team through General Manager
• Assists GM with mid-year and year-end performance reviews
