Job summary

Cinépolis USA in California seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead in-seat dining theater and high-volume restaurant operations. You will recruit, train, and develop staff while ensuring adherence to policies and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will manage training programs, safety compliance, and collaboration with HR, KM, and supervisors to maintain high standards of service, food quality, and presentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of In Seat Dining theater or restaurant operations management experience in high-volume operation.
• Minimum 3 years of F&B management experience in a high-volume role, ideally with full-service bar and kitchen.
• Proven track record of operational excellence.
• ServSafe, Food handling, and Alcohol certification required.
• Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends with increased hours during peak times.
• Standing, walking, lifting, twisting, bending and traversing stairs frequently.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, hire, train, develop, and retain all staff.
• Manage new hire training and ongoing staff training; ensure compliance training is up to date.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in partnership with HRBP.
• Collaborate with KM, Managers, HR, and supervisors to deliver guest services of high quality.
• Attend Regional and Head Office meetings and training.
• Enforce Cinépolis values with employees and implement company initiatives.
• Maintain operational standards and guest service by following processes and key points.
• Lead pre-shift huddles, sales meetings, and drive team sales goals and promotions.
• Oversee facilities and equipment maintenance with Head Office support.
• Ensure a safe, clean environment for employees and guests; manage incident prevention.
