Job summary

Small Door is seeking a Regional Operations Director to drive performance, consistency, and talent development across multiple DC-area practices. This hands-on leadership role blends coaching with strategic oversight to ensure every clinic runs smoothly and delivers a best-in-class member experience.

You will mentor Practice Managers, optimize staffing and labor, manage budgets and KPIs, and partner with HQ on launches and rollouts to stabilize new markets and support early leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of multi-unit operations experience in hospitality, retail, wellness, or veterinary settings.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop Practice Managers into independent operators.
• Build a talent pipeline and succession plan for all hospitals.
• Provide regular feedback, set clear expectations, and maintain accountability.
