Job summary

Parallel ENT & Allergy is seeking a Director of Regional Operations to lead day-to-day clinical operations and strategic business performance across multiple locations. You will own clinic workflow, patient care environment, and front-line operational consistency while driving administrative, financial, and growth initiatives.

You will partner with the COO and lead scheduling, credentialing, vendor management, revenue cycle, and market strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 6–8 years of progressive healthcare operations, business operations, or practice leadership experience preferred.
• Prior experience overseeing both clinical/ambulatory operations and business/financial functions in a multi-site healthcare setting strongly preferred; ENT or specialty practice experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own overall operational and financial performance across all market locations, including productivity, patient volume, patient experience, and cost management.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for each site (e.g., wait times, no-show rates, provider utilization) and drive accountability.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess performance, coach managers, and ensure consistent execution of standards.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and lead process improvement to standardize best practices across the market.
• Partner with managers to resolve escalated patient, staff, and operational issues.
• Ensure clinic schedules are optimized for provider capacity, patient access, and revenue generation.
• Monitor scheduling templates, appointment mix, and patient flow; resolve bottlenecks and reduce wait times.
• Lead vendor negotiations and contracts; monitor performance and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Develop local market strategy and growth initiatives; analyze market dynamics for opportunities and risks.
• Oversee market-level financial performance, including revenue, expense, and contribution margin.
• Partner with Marketing for local market initiatives and community outreach.
• Represent the practice at community events to drive patient volume.
