Job summary

The Florida Orthopaedic Institute is seeking a Regional Director of Operations to oversee multiple clinics across a defined region in Florida. You will drive operational excellence, standardize workflows, and partner with physicians and leadership to optimize patient care, staffing, and financial performance.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily clinic operations, budgeting, KPI monitoring, staff development, and process improvements across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years of relevant operational or healthcare management experience.
• Experience managing multiple locations or departments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of multiple clinics and ancillary services within the region.
• Ensure consistency in workflows, policies, and performance standards across locations.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate operations, staff engagement, and patient experience.
• Collaborate with physicians to review workflows, performance metrics, and optimize clinic and surgical volume.
• Supervise clinic managers and operational teams across sites.
• Provide coaching, training, and evaluations to support leadership development.
• Partner with HR on recruitment, hiring, and retention strategies.
• Monitor KPIs including patient volume, utilization, and profitability.
• Oversee budgeting, financial performance, and cost control across clinics.
• Review monthly P&L statements to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with providers and billing teams for claims processing.
