Job summary

Florida Orthopaedic Institute is seeking a Regional Director of Operations to oversee the performance, efficiency, and operational effectiveness of multiple clinics within a defined geographic region. You will ensure consistent workflows, patient experience, and staff development across locations while driving strategic initiatives to optimize clinic operations and growth.

The role requires strong multi-site leadership, budgeting, cost control, and collaboration with physicians, HR, and billing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of five years of relevant operational or healthcare management experience
• Experience managing multiple locations or departments preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of multiple clinics and ancillary services within the assigned region
• Ensure consistency in workflows, policies, and performance standards across locations
• Conduct regular site visits to evaluate operations, staff engagement, and patient experience
• Collaborate with physicians to review workflows, performance metrics, and optimize clinic and surgical volume
• Supervise clinic managers and operational teams across multiple sites
• Provide coaching, training, and performance evaluations to support leadership development
• Partner with HR on recruitment, hiring, and retention strategies
• Monitor KPIs including patient volume, utilization, and profitability
• Oversee budgeting, financial performance, and cost control across regional clinics
• Review and report monthly profit and loss statements to senior leadership
• Collaborate with providers and billing teams to ensure accurate and timely claims processing
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and operational efficiencies
• Monitor and improve patient satisfaction and service quality across the region
• Ensure standardized processes for scheduling, intake, and patient follow-up
• Address escalated patient concerns and lead service recovery efforts
