Job summary

OPENLANE is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to lead inspection teams, manage floor plan audits, and ensure quality standards within the assigned region. You will recruit inspectors, collaborate with the Sales and Marketplace teams, and drive regional growth through data-driven decision making.

The role requires 3+ years in operations management or related fields and 2+ years in automotive mechanical work. Field work 1-2 days weekly and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years relevant experience or education.
• Minimum of 2+ years of automotive mechanical experience.
• Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Master OPENLANE policies, processes, procedures, and tools used for floor plan audits and inspections.
• Oversee inspectors to meet regional SLA's and targets while adhering to company policies.
• Recruit and hire for contract and full-time inspectors within the region.
• Partner with Marketplace and Sales to ensure regional success, forecasting and scheduling.
• Cultivate customer relationships with dealers and OPENLANE sales team to drive growth.
• Assist in creating and implementing OKR's for regional success.
• Lead teams to deliver audit/inspection services including training and coaching.
• Ensure contractors meet customer requirements and operational standards.
• Serve as main contact for compensation, task assignment, and process updates with contractors.
• Collaborate with Product, Arbitration, Scheduling, and QA to test new app releases and provide feedback.
• Travel 1-2 days/week to field with inspectors to ensure quality standards.
