Job summary

Interstates is seeking a Regional Manager to oversee operations, growth, and project delivery across a defined region. The role blends office leadership with field responsibilities and requires frequent travel within the region.

The ideal candidate brings engineering/management experience, a proven track record in industrial environments, and strong knowledge of project management tools to drive performance and safety across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Construction and leadership experience are required.
• Experience in industries such as food processing, energy facilities, water/wastewater plants or similar environments is preferred.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day regional office activities within a specific region.
• Foster a strong safety-first culture across office and site environments.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies across office and field operations within the region.
• Drive operational excellence and ensure adherence to company policies in each office.
• Develop and mentor regional staff; conduct performance evaluations.
• Collaborate on business development and sales strategies for the region.
• Monitor market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Manage regional budgets and expenditures; monitor financial performance.
• Oversee project delivery within scope and budget; ensure high-quality work.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, timelines, and resources.
• Build client relations to support regional growth and opportunities.
• Analyze performance data to identify opportunities for improvement or growth.
• Oversee recruitment needs to meet regional staffing requirements.
