Job summary

BaneCare Management is seeking an experienced Regional Director of Operations to provide executive leadership for our portfolio of skilled nursing and senior living communities across Massachusetts. The role emphasizes driving census, managing financial performance, and developing strong administrators to uphold quality and compliance.

The position requires Massachusetts LNHA licensure, 5–7 years of leadership in skilled nursing, and willingness to travel across the state.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts LNHA licensed (required).
• Multi-site/regional operational experience required.
• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive leadership in skilled nursing.
• Strong track record managing budgets, labor, census, occupancy, and performance.
• Strong understanding of SN operations, reimbursement, regulatory compliance, and survey readiness.
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout Massachusetts.
• Flexibility to lead outside traditional business hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to facility Administrators and leadership teams.
• Drive census growth and occupancy through referrals, admissions, and marketing partnerships.
• Monitor census, admissions, payer mix, labor, expenses, and other metrics.
• Manage facility budgets and financial performance, identify opportunities for revenue and cost control.
• Review monthly financial results and develop corrective action plans.
• Support Administrators in executing facility-specific census growth strategies.
• Ensure staffing levels and labor management while maintaining quality care.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and survey readiness; monitor quality outcomes.
• Identify operational challenges and implement practical improvements.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop facility leaders and promote accountability.
• Collaborate with clinical, finance, HR, recruitment, marketing, and corporate teams.
• Evaluate capital needs and resource allocation; track KPIs and report to CEO/senior leadership.
• Stay current on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting operations.
