Job summary

BaneCare Management seeks an experienced Vice President of Business Development to drive census growth across its Massachusetts facilities and two assisted living communities. You will oversee Clinical Liaison, Business Development, and Corporate Admissions while guiding Facility Admissions Directors.

The role requires 7+ years in admissions/business development, strong payer knowledge, and leadership across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; masters, RN, or LNHA preferred.
• 7+ years of skilled nursing/post-acute admissions or business development experience, incl. 3 years leading multi-facility teams.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare Part A, MassHealth, managed care authorization, and PDPM.
• Experience with PointClickCare and CRM/referral management platforms.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong leadership, relationship-building, communication, and analytical skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly throughout Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Lead census growth and admissions strategy across facilities and programs.
• Develop annual census and growth plans with Administrators.
• Monitor referrals, admissions, discharges, open beds, and census trends.
• Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, discharge planners, physicians and payers.
• Lead Clinical Liaison, Business Development, and Corporate Admissions teams.
• Standardize referral intake, clinical review, bed-offer, and admission processes.
• Oversee payer verification and authorization for Medicare, MassHealth, and managed care.
• Ensure admissions are clinically appropriate and compliant with requirements.
• Report key metrics to senior leadership and manage the BD budget.
