Job summary

Waste Pro is seeking a Regional Operations Manager for North Carolina to lead regional operations, oversee contracts, and drive operational excellence. You will partner with the VP, develop processes, and mentor supervisors to achieve P&L goals.

The role requires 5+ years in waste operations, strong strategic planning, and the ability to travel extensively within the region. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

BA/BS degree in business or equivalent field; related work experience acceptable.
5 years of management or supervisory experience in the waste industry with demonstrated leadership.
Strategic and consultative process-improvement skills.
Superior written and oral communication with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Responsibilities

Support Regional VP with oversight for the region.
Develop processes and procedures as identified.
Drive acquisition and retention of municipal contracts and relationships with officials.
Train supervisors on responsibilities including P&L awareness.
Quantify KPIs and coach district managers using data.
