Job summary

Waste Pro USA Inc. is seeking an experienced Regional Controller to provide financial leadership and strategic support across Georgia and North Carolina’s divisions.

This role focuses on partnering with operations to improve profitability, drive performance, and influence key business decisions within the waste industry. The ideal candidate will oversee multi-location finance operations, including budgeting, capital planning, and performance metrics, while ensuring GAAP compliance and robust

Qualifications

• BS/BA/BBA in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years progressive accounting/financial leadership experience.
• 3+ years Controller/Regional Controller in waste/recycling/environmental services.
• Strong US GAAP and financial reporting knowledge.
• Ability to partner with operations and executive leadership.
• Leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within region.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly close with journal entries, reconciliations, and reports.
• Analyze profitability, costs, fleets, and key metrics across divisions.
• Partner with operations to improve margins and EBITDA.
• Manage annual budgets, capital budgets, and forecasts.
• Oversee GL, AR/AP, payroll, fixed assets, and reporting.
• Support M&A due diligence, modeling, and integration.
• Develop financial tools and strengthen internal controls.
• Mentor regional accounting staff and drive process improvements.
