Job summary

RB Global Inc. in Houston is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to oversee all regional operations staff and ensure safety and customer service excellence. You will drive regional budgets and performance across multiple auction sites.

Lead auctions, optimize processes, manage direct reports, and collaborate with sales and leadership to support growth while maintaining a strong safety culture. This full-time role requires flexibility for travel and weekends around auction dates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years managing/directing operations, ideally in a sales-driven environment.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Willingness to work extended overtime and weekends around auction dates.
• Ability to travel regionally up to 5 nights per month, plus international travel once or twice yearly.
• Experience leading business plans to support evolving goals.
• Proven leadership and change-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage regional financial activities including budget prep, cost control, and AP/AR.
• Maintain high visibility with customers, employees, and the regional business community.
• Foster clear, direct communication to align roles and promote cooperation.
• Oversee performance of direct reports including coaching and succession planning.
• Plan and manage all auctions and pre-auction operations for the region.
• Develop and implement policies and processes for safe, efficient operations.
• Oversee customer service levels and resolve inquiries or issues.
• Plan capital assets including vehicle fleets and facilities upgrades.
• Ensure licenses and permits are current and compliant.
• Evaluate contracts for vendor services and negotiating terms.
• Promote health and safety as a top priority for staff and customers.
