  • Previous experience in yard operations, equipment handling, or auction environments.
  • Knowledge of farming, construction, or industrial equipment.
  • Certification in First Aid, Loader Operation, or other relevant safety training.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles (hospitality, retail, service industry).

Responsibilities

  • Support auction yard operations by checking in, staging, tagging, and releasing equipment
  • Safely operate light and heavy equipment, following company standards and certifications
  • Assist customers on-site and provide sale-day support such as shuttle driving, cart driving, or customer service
  • Maintain site cleanliness, perform janitorial and groundskeeping tasks, and operate support vehicles like water trucks
  • Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance at all times while reporting hazards promptly
  • Work collaboratively with yard management, operations staff, and the inspection team to deliver seamless auction events
  • Contribute ideas for continuous improvement while upholding company values and delivering excellent customer experiences

It takes a hardworking team of energetic people in a wide variety of full-time and part-time roles to conduct a successful multi-million dollar auction – from equipment inspectors, yard managers and operators to administrative staff and customer service representatives.

Job Description

This Part-Time role supports the successful execution of auctions and daily site operations. Crew members work across a wide variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to equipment handling, customer service, driving, site upkeep, and auction‑day support. This position requires flexibility, teamwork, and a commitment to safety and customer experience while performing duties that ensure our auctions run smoothly and professionally.
