Job summary

Blank Street is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a cluster of 5+ stores and the General Managers who run them. You will hire, coach and develop an A* team, owning the area PnL and guiding strategic decisions to drive better performance.

You’ll scale leaders, implement hospitality standards, and roll out new initiatives with clear communication, training, and buy-in from teams across our stores.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in hospitality, retail, or another fast-growing consumer business.
• Experience leading multiple locations (3-10) and developing the managers who run them.
• Passionate about hospitality: you love creating exceptional customer and employee experiences.
• Commercial thinker: you read data (P&L, KPI dashboards) and know what to do next.
• People leader: you hire, coach, decide and lead through change.
• Strategic planner: you plan a quarter ahead and translate priorities into actions.
• Excellent communicator: you write clearly and speak confidently in meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead an area of 5+ stores and the GMs who manage them.
• Hire, coach, and develop an A* team of GMs for strong leadership.
• Own the area’s PnL and set plans to improve performance.
• Drive hospitality standards and accountable execution across stores.
• Build and maintain an area-wide culture of fast-moving, high-energy collaboration.
• Roll out initiatives and manage change with clear communication and training.
