Job summary

Lumen Technologies seeks a Supervisor Region Operations to manage technicians across service areas, ensuring high‑quality residential and business connectivity profitably. Build an aggressive, customer‑focused team delivering service that exceeds expectations.

Responsibilities include leading network operations, training and coaching, and acting as liaison with contractors and authorities. Strong union‑oriented leadership and technical skills are required in this role based in Phoenix, AZ.

Qualifications

• 4+ years managing telecom teams in a technical environment.
• Experience training, coaching, and mentoring in a union setting.
• Proficiency with Excel, email, Word and legacy systems.
• Knowledge of installation/maintenance of residential and business services and Local Network processes.
• Understanding of splicing/construction in telecom.
• Ability to work consultatively with customers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of outside/inside plant network services and technicians for residential and business customers.
• Act as single point of contact between Century Link and contractors to resolve issues during construction/maintenance.
• Lead training and development on new processes and quality standards, safety, and cost control.
• Direct a team to meet attendance and performance targets.
• Represent the company with customers and governmental agencies; coordinate with unions.
• Foster win‑win relationships and recognize team achievements.
• Drive continuous improvement and high performance across the group.
