Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Department of Environmental Protection seeks a Regional Business Manager for the Southeast Region in Norristown. You will guide administrative operations, manage budgeting, contracts, and data systems, and lead cross‑functional teams to support environmental programs.

Qualifications

• One year as an Administrative Officer 2 or equivalent
• Four years of progressively responsible office management experience including budgeting or procurement
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Direct administrative services to support regional operations and ensure budgeting, personnel, contracts, and data management are carried out effectively.
• Coordinate purchasing functions, review SAP documents, and verify compliance with purchasing rules.
• Monitor payroll, overtime and personnel actions to align with laws, policies and bargaining requirements.
• Lead operational units, address workflow concerns, plan work priorities and support program staff across disciplines.
