Wabtec is seeking a Field Service Engineer for OHV drive systems to oversee performance, reliability, and commissioning in the assigned region. You will be the primary technical interface with customers and OEMs, providing on-site and remote troubleshooting and ongoing support.

The role involves safety compliance, field data analysis, and driving continuous improvement with engineering and manufacturing teams. It requires travel up to 80% and the ability to work in mining environments.

Formación

• B.S. in mechanical, electrical, electronics, automation or related discipline with 3+ years in OHV mining vehicle engineering/field service/technical support.
• Technical degree or equivalent with 5+ years in OHV mining vehicle roles.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary technical support resource for OHV Drive Systems, providing on-site and remote troubleshooting, commissioning support, and issue resolution.
• Analyze equipment performance data, identify root causes, and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate field reporting, RMA processes, and corrective actions to improve fleet reliability.
• Lead commissioning activities for new OHV Drive System installations with proper documentation.
• Support warranty investigations and quality improvement initiatives through technical assessments.
