Wabtec is seeking an experienced field technical specialist to oversee OHV drive system performance and reliability across the assigned region. You will serve as the primary technical interface with customers and OEMs, performing troubleshooting, commissioning, and field support while communicating findings to engineering and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities include site and remote support, data analysis, and leading commissioning activities for installations.

Qualificações

• OHV mining equipment design, testing, validation, and field support.
• Experience working with dispersed multi-location teams in engineering, product development, validation, or service.
• Strong technical aptitude with engineering tools, software, and diagnostics.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary technical support resource for OHV Drive Systems, providing on-site and remote troubleshooting, commissioning support, and issue resolution.
• Ensure safety, regulatory, and customer requirements compliance while maintaining required certifications and site access credentials.
• Analyze equipment performance data, identify root causes, and drive continuous improvement with engineering teams.
• Collaborate with customers, OEMs, engineering, sales, and product teams to resolve technical issues and improve customer experience.
• Lead commissioning activities for new OHV Drive System installations with accurate documentation and asset management.
• Support warranty investigations, failure analysis, and quality improvement through technical assessments and customer engagement.
• Coordinate field reporting, RMA processes, and corrective action follow-up to improve product reliability.
• Contribute to NPI programs and aftermarket service contract execution and customer support initiatives.
• Monitor market, competitive, and industry developments and communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Promote an inclusive culture and embody One Wabtec values in collaboration and accountability.
