Job summary

Polaris Inc. is seeking a Service Engineer to lead service strategy for the ORV Crossover and ATV lines. You will partner with Engineering, the Strategic Business Unit and Central Service to align service readiness with dealer and customer needs.

You will drive field campaigns, coordinate cross-functional teams, mentor colleagues, and provide input for owner and dealer manuals. Travel up to 10% is expected as part of ongoing service improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Manufacturing, or a related engineering discipline.
• Three or more years of related engineering experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and practical experience with snowmobile powertrains and systems.
• Significant project-management experience across multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with dealership retail service operations.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Not eligible for sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead service strategy, readiness, and support for assigned product lines.
• Represent Service on product development programs and meetings.
• Collaborate with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering to resolve service issues.
• Lead field campaign execution and cost-effective problem resolution.
• Support global Technical Service by addressing dealer challenges.
• Maintain cross-functional communication on product issues.
• Assess parts-supply risks and drive mitigation with cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to owner, service, and parts manuals and dealer training materials.
• Develop special service tools and ensure diagnostics software supports new products.
• Participate in Post Sales Surveillance and escalation handling.
• Identify and lead continuous-improvement and standardization projects.
