Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee 4–6 retail offices in the region. You will set expectations, coach teams to deliver a high-quality client experience, and ensure staffing, facilities, and compliance are aligned for success.

You’ll lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on presence, driving revenue and operational results across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit retail/operations.
• Strong client-centric mindset with consultative experience.
• Proven leadership, coaching, and accountability abilities.
• Ability to drive financial results while managing day-to-day ops.
• Experience leading change and process adoption.
• Independent judgment with ability to prioritize across locations.
• Experience with facilities, staffing, or compliance operations.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently between offices.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of consultative client experience across 4–6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact; drive improvements.
• Lead and coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals.
• Set expectations, reinforce accountability, and drive performance.
• Coach based on observed behavior and performance feedback.
• Identify patterns, address gaps, and develop bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor metrics and implement actions to improve results and retention.
• Ensure daily operations across offices, including staffing and compliance.
• Oversee office readiness, facilities, equipment, and onboarding for seasonal demand.
