Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee 4-6 retail offices and ensure a consistently high-quality client experience across locations.

You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, align priorities, and balance strategic oversight with hands-on leadership to drive client outcomes and business performance while managing staffing, facilities, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in multi-unit retail or service environments.
• Ability to motivate teams, coach performance, and hold staff accountable.
• Experience with operating across multiple locations and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of the consultative client experience across 4-6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes and tools.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals with clear expectations.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors and performance data.
• Identify patterns, address gaps, and develop bench strength.
• Manage revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor metrics and implement actions to improve results.
• Ensure daily operations, staffing, labor, compliance, and SOPs.
• Oversee office readiness including facilities, supplies, and onboarding for seasonal demand.
