Job summary

Wayne Bank is seeking an experienced Regional Mortgage Sales Leader in Scranton, PA to develop and execute a growth-driven mortgage strategy. You will drive production through personal origination and team performance, building a strong Mortgage Loan Officer team and referral networks.

The role requires 7–10 years in residential mortgage lending, leadership experience, and a Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a regional residential mortgage sales strategy aligned with the Bank’s growth objectives.
Drive mortgage loan production through both personal origination and team performance.
Recruit, develop, and manage a team of Mortgage Loan Officers.
Establish and maintain referral networks with realtors, builders, and community partners.
Monitor market trends, pricing, and competitive positioning.
Ensure compliance with Bank policies, underwriting standards, and regulatory requirements (TRID, RESPA, HMDA).
Partner with Underwriting to ensure an efficient loan process.
Oversee pipeline management, loan quality, and turnaround times.
Represent the Bank in community and business development activities.
Collaborate with Retail and Commercial teams to support relationship growth and cross-selling opportunities.
