Job summary

Wayne Bank is seeking an experienced Regional Mortgage Sales Leader in Scranton, PA to develop and execute a growth-driven mortgage strategy. You will drive production through personal origination and team performance, building a strong Mortgage Loan Officer team and referral networks.

The role requires 7–10 years in residential mortgage lending, leadership experience, and a Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a regional residential mortgage sales strategy aligned with the Bank’s growth objectives.
• Drive mortgage loan production through both personal origination and team performance.
• Recruit, develop, and manage a team of Mortgage Loan Officers.
• Establish and maintain referral networks with realtors, builders, and community partners.
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and competitive positioning.
• Ensure compliance with Bank policies, underwriting standards, and regulatory requirements (TRID, RESPA, HMDA).
• Partner with Underwriting to ensure an efficient loan process.
• Oversee pipeline management, loan quality, and turnaround times.
• Represent the Bank in community and business development activities.
• Collaborate with Retail and Commercial teams to support relationship growth and cross-selling opportunities.
